Scorched: 2013 Subaru BRZ
Really nice ad for Subaru. Subaru want the ad to show that this car is the best. So hot that no one can touch it or even come close to it. I like how they have conveyed the message that the car is super hot by making the car seem well.. super hot.
The agency also came up with this concept for ambient media. It shows a Subaru garage with the new model inside, however because the car is 'Super hot' the garage has burnt and melted around the car. This is a really good campaign for Subaru and think it will be really effective.
An ad for Classic silent film convention in Italy. When I think of silent films i instantly think of Charlie Chaplin and coincidently so does the ad agency that created this poster. Charlie Chaplin was most well known not just for his movies but his hat and moustache. They've incorporated representations for both sound ( the speaker ) and silence (Charlie Chaplin ) I like how they have used the speaker symbol to create his moustache as well. Simple but effective.
This ad for Spuk stock images is all about seeing the unseen (as suggested in the tag line). They have been clever and taken 2 iconic images; The Beetles Abbey Road and Marilyn Monroe Steam grate from the film Seven Year Itch. They then took these photos as inspiration and looked at unseen angles of the photos so for the Beetles it was an overhead shot and for Marilyn Monroe it was under the steam grate.
I chose this add purely for the amazing illustration. The tag line is 'Driven by History'. The illustration includes images from American History including; Statue of Liberty, Martin Luther King and Marilyn Monroe. They have kept the colours simple opting for Red, White and Blue. A really nice piece.
Gaga's Workshop Digital Campaign Case Study
A Video showing how social media can attract people to a brand/company. In this case its Barney's New York. They created a whole floor dedicated to Lady GaGa. To create a buzz about GaGa's workshop they enlisted the help of an agency that could create a campaign for social media to help draw attention to the project, which is exactly what the agency did.

The Blackpool Comedy Carpet. Blackpool is famously know for its comedy, hundreds of comedians perform there. As homage to comedy in Blackpool this piece of art was installed. The piece includes famous quotes and sayings of some of the comedians and performers who have performed in Blackpool
people such as; Bruce Forsyth, Morecambe and Wise and my personal favourite Dame Edna Everage.
An ambient media / adshel piece for the TV show Pan Am. The show revolves around the crew of the airline Pan Am in the 60s. In the 1960's the cabin crew of Pan Am were seen as the most glamourous crew in the world. This ad incorporates both adshel and ambient media. I like how the agency decided not to put an image of the uniform but to actually put the uniform in between the glass. Clever. People can then look at the uniform in all its glory.
British Airways doing something clever with their window blinds. The first one is advertising BA flights to Dublin, I like the simplicity of both the ads. Just by pulling the window bling down a little it resembles the Irish favourite a pint of Guinness. The one underneath is advertising Club World which is BA's first class. Club World has lie flat beds. Again it was just a case of pulling the window blind further down to resemble 2 tired eyes. Simple but so clever.
Official Virgin Atlantic Advert 2011 - HD 'Your airline's either got it ...
The BEAUTIFUL people at Virgin Atlantic have made this fantastic ad. It reminds me a little bit of a James Bond opening with the women flying about and the music. The ad catches the glamour that you can expect from flying with VA. Well Done Virgin !!
Virgin Atlantic: 25 years, Still Red Hot
Another add from the BEAUTIFUL people at Virgin Atlantic. This time proving that they are indeed still Red Hot after 25 years of flying. The ad kinda makes all other airlines look obsolete and boring.

Claim 500
Has to be one of the strangest adverts Iv'e come across. I found this whilst sitting in A&E. The ad kinda contradicts itself. The women who is hit on the head with a tool box would have died and the bloke on the top of the building falls off that building and clearly dies. How can they claim they're dead !
